Ws recently bad the pleasure of inspecting Mr Still well's beautiful nursery garden at Parawai. Tho grounds are beautifully laid out, and every department of horticulture and frait growing is carefully attended to. Mf Stillwell makes roses his speciality, having fifty varieties of these favorite blooms. Whether it is the soil or the mode of culture, we do nob know, but we are certain that the flowers would be creditable to any florißt in the world. Of fruit trees there are all varieties and sizes, {including lemons, plums, apples, grapes, peaches, etc., and there is no lack of strawberries. Although the stock of greenhouse plants ia not the largest, there are gome very choice and well grown varieties.
