Public Notification* PUBLIC NOTICE. rpHE NEW GOLD MINING DISTRICT -*• at TE AROHA will b« PROCL UMKD as OPEN for OCCUPATION on and after THUBSDAY, the Twenty-ifth day of Norember inntnnt, at 9 o'clock a.m. Miners' Right* and Business Licenses md be obtained at the Warden's Office, Grahamstown, from the 20th inst., and will be on issue at the Warden's Office, Te Aroha on and after MONDAY, the 22nd instant, between the hours of 10 o'olock a.m. and four o'clock p.m. One man's ground will be 15,000 square j feet, and the maximum area that can be j pegged out is fire acres (about fifteen men* j ground.) ' The Warden will be on the Prospeotors' ground to declare the District open for occupation at 9 o'clock a.m. on the 25th instant. Ail disputes arising as to priority of right will be determined by him on the ground if possible. Business Sites have been laid off, and can be applied for on and after the opening of the field at the Mining Registrar's office, Te Aroha. The Hauraki Regulations will be in force at Te Aroha with the alterations named below. Te Aroha will be deolared a SPECIAL LICENSING DISTRICT. NbwßttleSa— All claims marked out within one month of the proclamation of a new district shall be represented by at least one man for each fifteen thousand square feet of land so marked out. Each man to be the holoVr of a Miners' Right in force, and to be on the ground continually from d»y to day for ten days succeeding the dtty ; of marking out. To Regulation 5 add— If the nature of the ground do not permit of such trench being out in li«u thereof the boundary lines may. be marked for a dk-iunee of six feet from each angle post, by posts or cairns of stones two feet apart. RKOTIATIOK 12 ADD—• All claims shall be deemed to be abandoned if the notice required by Rule 6 be not given, or if the claim be not registered within the time prescribed by Rule 7. Bvsi3B— ; Omit "Provincial Government Gazette/ and insert in lieu thereof the words, " in some one or more newspapers circulating in the district." RtobßO— . After "business site" in last line add or " business license." Rwi»s7— The Warden shall hare power to reserve from occupation any land required for roads, and may cause main or trunk lines and all pnblio roads to be laid out.
