This day. The Horn. Bryce and Bolleston had a narrow escape from being killed on Sunday whilst being driven from the camp to Opanake in an express. On descending; the hill before coming to Waetahia, the break gare way, and the express weni down with a run into the river; Mr Eolleston was thrown amongst the horses, and Mr Bryce some* how got under the trap into the water, and both were fortunate in not receiving any serious injury.
