Thames Naval Brigade.
The Navals competed at the Parawai Range on Saturday for the following prizes:—Ist class (first competion): Handsome meerschaum pipe, presented by Mr J Osborne, and Mr Quint's prize. 2nd class: Final competition for Mr McLirer's prize. The ranges were 200, 300, 400 and 500; 20 shots. The following are the scores:—
The totals for the 2nd class stand thus; —Ist competition—Seaman H. Davis 42, total 99; Floyd 37, total 97; J. Gordon 37, total 84; Patterson 32, total 71. The firing for District Frizes takes place on Saturday, 4th December, at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., on the Parawai Eange.
