Public Notifications PUBLIC NOTICE. mHE SBW GOLD MINING DISTRICT •*■ at TE AROHA will be PROCLAIMED *«■ OPEN for OCCUPATION on and after THURSDAY, the Twenty-fifth day of November inetaut, at 9 o'clock a.m. Miners' Rights and Business Licenses can be obtained at the Warden's Office, Grahamstown, from the 20th inst., and will be on iatue at the Warden's Office, Te Aroha on cod aftrr MONDAY, the 22nd instant, between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and lour o'clock p.m. One man's ground will be 15,000 square feet, and the maximum area that can be pegged out is five acres (about fifteen men'" ground.) The Warden will be on the Prospectors' ground to declare the District open for occupation at 9 o'clock a.m. on the 25th instant. All deputes arising as to priority of right will be determined by him on the ground if possible. Nbw Rtoe sa— All claims marked out within one month of the proclamation of a new district shall be represented by at least one man for each fifteen thousand square feet ef land so marked out. Each man to be the holder of a Miners' Right in force, and to be on the ground coniiuually from day to day for ten days succeeding the day of marking out. To Regwiation 5 add— If the nature of the ground do not ■ permit of such trench being cut in lieu thereof the boundary lines may be marked for a distance of six feet from each angle post by poets or cairns of stones two feet apart. Regulation 12 add— All claims shall be deemed to be , abandoned if the notice required by Rule 6 be not given, or if the claim be not registered within the time prescribed by Rule 7.
