CHRISTCHURCH.
This day.
A fire occurred this morning whereby Mr Horseford ,(£>r Prins) had a narrow escape of losing all his valuable horses kept for stud purposes. The servant happened to be awake at the time of the outbreak, and at once gave the alarm, and the horses were all saved, but saddlery and other property to the value of £200 was destroyed. Property uninsured.
