TE AROHA.
The Day of Opening.
Mr a. T. Wilkinson returned from Te Aroha last night. Some of the natives yet refuse to allow their portions of land to be included in the goldfield. This circumstance and others will cause the day of opening to be postponed till (at the earliest) next Thursday, the 25th inst. The Prospectors' Claim. After hearing the evidence of the claimants to the Prospectors' Claim, Mr Kenrick has made the following arrangements:—Te Hone Wharekino five shares, Adam Porter three shares, and J. Sweeny two shares, giving in all nine men's
ground.
