This day
Although the Native Lands Court does not sit at Taupo till the 29th, Judge Fenton goes to Taupo to-morrow. No reason is assigned for hurrying away from Napier before the whole of the business is concluded. Important cases are consequently indefinitely postponed. ,
The Magistrate this morning referred to the loss the Bench has sustained through tbe death of Mr Eichmond.
