THIS DAY.

Another Account. (fhom a cobbespondent.)

I am pleased to inform, your readers that a reef of about nine inches in thickness has been discovered in the prospector's claim, Te Aroha, carrying rich gold, not only in the stone, but in the crevices and casing. There is great joy and excitement over the find. Old practical and well-known miners, such as Mr James Gribble (recently of the Moanatairi), who is on the spot, affirm it to be first- clasa stone, and a really good show, such as, if on the Thames, would 'run the stock up to a high pitch.
