' : Meetings are being held in Ireland to protest against the trial of the Irish Land Leaguers. s , ,- i Constantinople, November 8. ; The Alabaman chiefs have replied to the request of Dervisch Pasha, that they 'should submit without opposition to. the cession of Dulcigno. They state that they cannot agree to the cession, and will defend their territory with their lives. A body of Niza,ms were landed by Dervisch Pasha, but were prevented by the Albanians from entering Dulcigno. Constantinople, November 9. The Porte is sending reinforcements of troops to Dervisch Pasha who, together with Biz Pasha, has' now left the neighbourhood of Dulcigno. St. Pbtebsbi7b&, November 9. ' Owing to a famine which it is feared is impending in Russia, the prices of food generally, but especially of wheat, .are rapidly increasing.
