This day. Morice Jones, a well-known cattle dealer, has been missing since Friday.
In the Calcutta Sweeps, drawn on Saturday night, Foal Flay, Betrayer, and Le Loop are about equal favourites for the J. C. Handicap.
In consequence of the heavy rain very little training was done yesterday. Lure is at even money for the Derby; Foul Flay and Lore are equal favorites for the Cap at 3to 1; Lapnode and Hinemoa are moat fancied for the Welcome Stakes.
