KARANUI HILL.

Crushing has been commenced at the ' company's mill on tributers' stuff principally. In the miise there is little of conquence to report. The No. 1 lode at the Caledonian 360 feet level continues of considerable size, and is pretty hard. It ia now running about west. In the Oddfellows section the manager has several men stoping, the lode being much more regular than previously, and is now about a foot thick. The manager is also driving seaward for the purpose of cutting Jenkins' runs. Some colors of gold have been seen. In the Teutonic section the main lode is expected to be to hand shortly in the crosscut, and it is the manager's intention shortly to drive on the No. 2 lode here.
