A fire occurred last night at the Bedfern railway terminus, which causeel the destruction of a large oil store, and others were damaged. Sailed: The Wakatipu, for Wellington on Saturday. Melboubnb, This day. Arrived: The P. and O. Company's steamship Bosetta, with the Suez mail.
The weather this morning is so beautiful, that there is every prospeot of its remaining fine for the Cup.
Stockbridge has been scratched for the Cup, and all the others left in are considered as probable starters. \-
The Totalisator Bill has been rejected by the Council.
