TUe first of a scries of rifle matches to test the relatire merits of the existing sights and targets compared with Soall's system of white sights and black targets commenced at the rifle range yesterday, and was in favor of the latter.
Arrived: The Glenora, with thirty passengers, from London; eighty-two days from port to port.
No entries hare yet been received by the local secretary for the woo) exhibits at the Melbourne Exhibition.
