Fevers which so quickly fasten on the debilitated system may easily bb xspx away by the timely use of this fS" MOST WONDERFUL REMEDY JR> In fact, by its use the Most Malignant of Tropical Fevers hate bun bjbcted from the Human System, and by its aid Dying, Fever-stricken Men have been, as it were, RAISED FROM THE DEAD ! As is shown from the following interesting TALE OF THE PACIFIC! A TALE OF THE PACIFIC. Win. Opperman, Esq., a wealthy island trader, was for rome months lying ill at HappemammaKt.Bn island of the Kingsm Group, in the Pacific. He had been seised with rheumatic fever, which was followed by complicated disorders of a terribly seven nature, assuming the form of a species of paley never < before known. The sufferer's limbs swelled, the legs lost all sensibility to pain; the foot could be wrenched reund or the skin pierced, with a lance without in flieting the slightest suffering. The sick man was evidently unconscious of his having legs, and his brain was seriously'affected ac if with lunaoy. In this deplorable state be was kindly brought from the islands to Auckland by Mr H. Henderson in the schooner Coronet, Captain. Moeller, and, being a German, he was received by tbe German Consul, G.Von!derHeyde»£sq., and placed in the District Hospital, where he received treatment for three weeks with no indication of improvement, his case being pronounced by one arid all a hopeless one. The captain of the Coronet, knowing that extraordinary cures had been effected by the use of Hitchens* Celebrated Blood Restorer requested the proprietor of the Blood Restorer to take ,ihe case in hand, and a contract was entered into of "No cure, no pay." ,Mr Hitchens. proceeded to the Hospital, examined the invalid and found him in an apparently dying state, with scarcely a spark of, life left. Mr Hitehen* ordered the suffering man to be re* moved to his (Mr H's) private, residence, where his wants could be personally attended to by Mr Hitchens. The latter administered the medicine (the Blood Restorer) and used the ointment freely. Meanwhile clergymen called, pronouncing the case beyond the power of man to effect a cure. However after six weeks the effect of tbe medicine became wonderfully apparent. ■•• ■. - The Blood Restorer had acted steadily but surely en the blood; the deadly impurities were gradually eliminated from the system until, the stream of life flowed unchecked in its natural channels over the entire man. The brain became dear and active, and the limbs once again rejoiced in natural circulation, the patient rising to his feet cured of diseases which had baffled the skill of leading physicians, a living proof of the wonderful pealing powers of Hitchens' Celebrated Blood Restorer, TESTIMONIAL. Auckland, N.Z. To H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. i Before leaving Auckland on my return voyage to the Islands, I have to perform the pleasing duty of acknowledging the surprising cure I have received at your hands. Coming to Auckland as I did a dying man, being palsied and generally unconscious, and hearing from others that no hope of reoovery was held out by medical men, I look upon you now as the preserver of my life. I am convinced that to your medicine alone is due the credit for my now being a living man. I beg to thank you most sincerely for the kindness you have shewn me while staying in your house, and in conclusion would earnestly recommend sick people to use your Blood Restorer, as,it is the most extraordinary purifier of the blood I ever heard of, !or met with in my travels. It is one of the many good gifts of a beneficent Creator to his suffering ohlldren on this earth. J . , * . W. OPPERMAN. ! Auckland, December 19,1879.
