THAMES SCOTTISH BATTALION.
The Nos. 1 and 2 Companies of the Thames Scottish Battalion competed on Saturday for, their respective Company belts, and two handsome prizes—a Pictorial History of the World, presented by Mr Charles McLiver, the enterprising Brown street stationer, and a work-box. The winners of the prizes are to be decided by the results of two competitions, the belt match being the first. The belts were won by Volunteers Weir, No. 1, and Lawlor, No, 2. The. following are the principal scores, the ranges being 200, 4CO and 500 yards ; seven Bhots at each :— No. 1 Compamt. !
