Just-in-Time.—Some n onths ngo tho shareholders found some very rich specimens on tho surface, which could not have come from their old leader. They immediately commenced to drive in search. Several hundred feet were driven unsuccessfully, and at last it was discovered under the mouth of the drive. Within the last few days a large quantity of specimens have been taken out, and the general *tuff is very rich in the precious metal. The leader strikes north and south, and is about six inches thick. United.—The manager has just concluded the first crushing siuco the formation of the company, and has lodged the very handsome return of 70ozs from 8 tons. Union Beach.—The several tribute parties in this ground have just had very fair crushing!?. There has been very few specimens or picked stone got this month, the stuff being comparatively poor. Invebness.—The shareholders in this mine have just completed a fine crushing for 130ozs. The leader is very small, but carries good gold for over 100 feet along its course. Pbide of Tokatea. —This ground appears to be a favorite with a good many tribute parties, several of whom are doing well, and in the Tokatea there has been a very considerable change for the better in ''the low level, the ground is still hard but ■hoots better. It is thought the reef channel of the country has been reached. Some considerable stir was made in the early part of the month by McMurray and party, who struck a fine reef about three feet thick, showing good gold through the largest blocks of stone. The ground is situated on the Waikoromiko track, near the old City of Cork workings. South Bbitish.—This is another new find. Last week a large mullocky reef was cut in this ground, and some very rich though small, specimens taken out The reef is traversed by small veins of quartz which, occassionally make into large stoneg. A very small yield will pay well, as it has splendid facilities for carting and crushing. » Success.—This mine has taken everybody by Surprise since the formation of the company about two months since. A couple of men have been getting put stuff. Last week this was sent to the mill, and resulted in the astonishing yield of 51ozs from 10| tons of stuff; The Very highest estimate was under 3ozs.— Herald.
