The increase in the attendance at the High School has been so large of late that the Board of have baen forced to engage the services of an assistant master. This gentleman, a Mr James, has arrived, and has already entered on his duties.
OvEB a quarter of a million of advertised sweeps will depend upon the issue of the Melbourne Cup event in November next. This is significant of the gmbling spirit of the age.
