Further details of the scheme proposed by the Forte to the Great Powers hare now transpired. For the settlement of the difficulty between Turkey and Greece the Ottoman Government offer to cede to Greece the frontier to South Janina, in Eprius and Larissa, in Thesealy; but the towns themselves are not to be included in the ceded territory, as required by the Supplementary Berlin Conference.
The death of M. Offenbach, the wellknown French musician and composer, is announced to-day. Deceased was 61 years of age. THE AUSTRALIANS. The Australian Cricketers left England to day for the continent, where they will spend a few days. They will then proceed to Suez, and leave that port by the P. and O. steaiMiL on the 14th, for Melbourne and SydHy.
