LUCK'S ALL.

The manager, Mr Jenkins, broke down on the lower leader at the bottom level to-day and obtained a few lbs of rich specimens. He was not able to break down as much as he intended and another breaking down will in all probability eventuate towards the end of the week. The lode has a very healthy appearance, and the crushing staff is evidently of good quality. Work in other parts of the mine has been practically stopped until carting is started and some of the quartz which now obstructs the workings is got rid of. The hopper, shoot and tramway are in a forward state, and will be finished this week. It is expected that crushing will be commenced about the middle of the ensuing week. ;
