BLENHEIM.

This day.

Mr Seymour, the Chairman of Committees in the House of Representatives, addressed a large meeting of electors, and reviewed the measures of last session. Referring to the present administration he said he thought the Ministers were honest, straightforward men. The difficulty in passing measures last session was that there was no organised Opposition, and no one recognised as a leader. There were too. many leaders, and the fatal mistake made by the opposition was the deposition of Sir George Grey, and until he was raised to that position again, they would have no organisation.

Mr Seymour was accorded a vote ol thanks for his address.
