REUBEN PARR.
The only appearance of quartz in the hopper level is a'small'stringer which the manager is following in hope of h leading to the recovery of the lode. There is a chance of it turning out to be the pinched up remnant of the iode, which may open out to its former size when clear of the slide.. The drive on the Twenty-third of June reef at the Freedom level shows that lode to be two feet thick.
