The first and second innings of the Australians were: Murdoch, 1-153; Bannerman, 32-8; Groube, 11-0; McDonnell, 27-33; Bonner, 2-16; Boyle, 36-13; Blackham. 0-19; Slight, 11-0; Palmer, 6-4; Aler- ; ander, 6-33; Moule, 6-34; extras 12----1 4; total, 477. In the aeoond innings of the English, W. Grace was not oat for 10, and F.
