CHRISTCHURCH.
At a sale of entire l-orses afternoon, the only good Prj^^^^^^| was for Sir Colin Campbell, purchased by G. King. The Hinemoa arrived at J^^^^^^J 630 this morning, with the^^^^^H Maori prisoners, who were n^^^^^H gaol. The prisoners previoul^^^^H were conveyed by the Hinemoa^^^H Island. A house on the North Belt belonging to G. Watkin, carpenter, was burned down this evening. The cause was accidental, a pot of glue having boiled over unseen and set fire to the wood work of the place. It is believed to be insured fur £203, and the furniture for £250, but the office is unknown as the owner was absent at the time.
