County Council Contracts.
Tenders for three sections of the Te Aroha Road were opened at the County Offices today, with the following result :—
No. 4 section.—Healy (accepted), £107 10s; Comes, £123 14s; Butler, £167; Punch, £203 ; Marrinan, £230.
No. 5 section —Butler, £57 15s; Comes, informal; Marrinan, do.; Healy, do. No tender has yet been accepted for this section.
No. 6 section.—Butler, £60.; O'Halloran, £60; Punch, £61 10s; Marrinan, £74. Two of the tenders being of the same amount neither has yet been accepted.
