Spiritualism.

Mr Simon gave his third lecture on the above subject in the Academy of Music yesterday afternoon. Mr J. Horn was in the chair. The lecturer at great length spoke of the causes which led so many to oppose Spiritualism—want of a knowledge of the subject and popular prejudice were, in his opinion* the main obstacles. The great benefits that a knowledge of Spiritualism eon* ferred upon men were pointed out, and the proper steps to be taken to acquire a knowledge of the subject. A number of questions were asked Mr Simon, to which he replied at length, the majority being satisfied with the answers to their questions. After the close of, the lecture a meeting was held and a committee formed for the better management of the course of lectures/and to assist in other directions in advancing -Spiritualism.
