Ingram and White, owners of land at Oxford, on which chalk is found, have been experimenting in the manufacture of cement, nnd after several unsuccessful attempts to secure the right sort of day, they obtained an expert, who found a blue clay in the neighbourhod which answered the purpose well, and they have produced a beautiful cement weighing 1181b*. to the bushel.
