Concerning his operations in the 70 feet lerel, the manager reports as follows: —Hanging wall leader: Driving has been carried on here, and stoping here and on the Sons of Freedom reef, with the same satisfactory results as hitherto. Stoping is still being carried on in the old stopes orer the 70 feet level, *where we still obtain some good crushing dirt. I hare again started to sink on the hanging wall Bide of the old stopes, where a leader had dropped away from the reef. As we sink it still appears to get further into the hanging wall, but always shows gold, though not s© rich as formerly, as it was from here we obtained some rich Btone last month.
