At the Polk o Court to«day Robert Andrew Dunne, Secretary of Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society, was charged with having on or about Ist April failed to furnish the Registrar of Friendly Societies with the first return of cards issued to every person who had joined the Society as a benefit member during the year ending 31st March, 1879; second, a general statement of receipts and expenditure, funds and effects for the year ended 31st December, 1879; and, third, a return of sickness, mortality, and other contingencies experienced during the year ended 31st December, 1879;

On the application of defendant's solicitor, the case was adjourned for one week. . .___
