The match Australians r. Sussex County team,.was commenced at Brighton to-day. The Home team went to the wickets, And were all out for 108 runs. The Australians went iv for their first innings, and when stumps were drawn for the day had lost seven wickets for 119 runs. Mac Donald was not out, 81. The attendance at the match was large. The wicket was not in good order. The discorery has been made*of an attempt to wreck a train on the North Western Railway, near a place called Bushey. Dynamite was used by the culprits. Intelligence hud been receired that the French war-ships have joined the combined squadron at the Austrian port of Bagusa. Armed: Tho Kotral, from Lyttelton, left June 2nd; S. It. Lyman, from Timaru, left May 26th.
