LATE ENGLISH NEWS.
London September 2.
In accordance with the announcement made in the House of Lords by Earl Granville (Secretary of State for Foreign Department) last Monday, a contingent of British and other men-of-war to day sailed for Ragusa, in the Adriatic Sea. It is understood the fleet are at present without further instructions than that their destination is the place above named, under command of Vice-Admiral Pagct Seymour, and not under Admiral Hornby as at first expected.
Montenegro is. not satisfied with the cession of territory made by Turkey, and demands an indemnity of a million and a quarter francs (£50,000), on account of expenses to which it has been put by the refusal of the Porte to give effect to the decisions of the Berlin Conference.

tion Bill, although the Government aided in passing it through the House of Commons, and the Irish party are avenging this action by blocking the Appropriation Bill. The House of Lords also refuse to accept some amendments made by the House of Commons in the Burial's Bill, thus encouraging a new agitation against the Upper .House.
