Thames Hospital Enquiry.
A special meeting of- the General Cojnmittee was held this morning—the President, Mr Ehrenfried, in the Chair, and with one exception every member of the Committee was present. The meeting was called relative to the enquiry to be held by Dr Skae into the charges made by Mrs Itawer against the Dispenser and the Hospital management.
The Secretary stated that Dr Skae informed him that he was quite unaware of there being a committee of n>anage> ment or he would have communicated with it in the first instance. From his instructions he was led to believe the institution was managed by the Government.
Mr Murray moved that the President and Secretary, with the House Committee, attend the enquiry representing the management committee. Mr Mcllhone said that under the circumstances he thought the Committee were not called upon to interfere.
After some conversation the motion was carried. '
