(Before H. Kenrick, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS.

Albert J. Nicholas and Andrew Neave were charged with the above offence. The former, who pleaded guilty, was discharged with a caution, and the latter was remanded till Monday morning, he not being in a fit state to appear. H. T. HOWE T. PtRIKA BUIPOTO. Claim, £6 10s, cost of a survey. Mr Brassey for plaintiff. E. W. Puckey deposed—The block in question was claimed by Firika, but it had been granted to the Church Mission. Before he knew this he bad recommended the survey to be, made, but when he found it out be advised Pirika to stop proceedings.

Firika deposed that he had nerer giren the land in question to the Church Mission. He ordered Mr Rowe to survey the block, but no price was mentioned at the time. He was willing to par for the surrey if a plan were Riven to him. Judgment for plaintiff with costs £212s 6d, on condition that he supplied defendant with a plan of the block. Judgment in the case of G. N. Brassey r. Ahi Pepeni was given this morning for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, £19 0s lOd, with costs.
