LUCE'S ALL.
At odd times the manager has been fossicking about the No. 1 level workings, and lately while prospecting the large reef lie came on some excellent specimens. The lode is 18 inches thick, well mineralised, and shows colors of gold. There is a block from this level up 40 feet in Icngtb, and intact to surface, while under the level nothing has been done on it. The general dirt from here should go fully four ounces per ton, and I have no doubt that excellent returns will be obtained when this part of the mine is v?orked. The blue leader where driven oa at No. 2 level is looking first class and shows good colors of gold. The main body of the leader is about 3 inches thick, and when the point is reached where the shot of gold crosses the stone there should be a rich patch of specimens. A start will shortly be made at erecting the hoppers, and then no time will be lost iv getting a crushing for the mill.
