Mr Penk, who built the manager's office and mine stores, etc., was the successful tenderer for the company's hoppers, the amount being £82 10s. The other tenders were —Law £84, M. Casey £92 12s, G. Devey £98. and Stepheuson £99 19s. The work will be rough though substantial, and Mr Penk hopes to have it completed inside of a month.
