After, considerable further discussion, the second reading of the Financial Arrangement Act Amendment Bill was carried by 43 to 23. The Customs Duties Bill was then read a second time and committed.

The Customs Duties Bill was read a third time and passed, and also the Public Bevenues Bill was read a third time and passed. In Committee on the Financial Arrange' ments Bill a division look place on clause 3 which proposed to takeaway the 20 per cent, of land fund from the local bodies.
