The House met at 11 o'clock, when the following Bills were read a second tj me and passed through Committee :—Native Schools Site, Canterbury Eoads Ordinance :' Amendment and Extension ; and the Lodgers Goods Protection was read a third time and passed. The clause authorising the issue of volunteer scrip to certain members of the Auckland Naval Brigade was struck out on a division of 30 to 20, the bill was then reported with amendment.
