MINT.
McLean and party, the contractors for the extension of the Middle Star tunnel, have completed the 100 feet specified, and hare been further employed to drive in to cut the Comet reef. It was expected that this body of quarts would hare been to hand ere now, but there is every chance of it being to band before 20 or 30 feet
has been driven. The country is excellent, and tbe lode in the face shows an improvement. There is a good chance of gold making on the junction of the two lodes.
