NELSON.

Last night. At a Volunteer inspection Captain Bunney, the commanding officer, asked for a decision whether the respective corps of the distri would continue their services after the c of capitation. The Artillery, City Rifles, Stoke Rifles and Waimea Bifles decided to a man to continue their services. The Naval Brigade officers stated that their members had agreed to consider the matter at their half-yearly meeting next week, and till then'only a few actually declared that they would continue, but from the way in which they stated this it appears that they are resolved, but wished to discuss ways and means. Messrs Curtis and Wells, Justices, who are to conduct the enquiry re the Nelson -Gaol, met this morning, but adjourned till Atkinson, the late warder, can be brought to Nelson.
