. Last night. The application of W. L. Bees, solicitor, to overthrow the deed of arrangement made by Robert Cooper with his creditors, Riving him 12 months to manage his own estate and pay off his liabilities has been dismissed by his honour Judge Kenny in the District Court of Hawke's Bay : the applicant to pay cost?.
It is rumoured that a valuable seam of coal has been discovered close to Giaborne.
