On the House resuming. ) TLhe motion for agreeing to the resolu* tion from the Committe of Supply was agreed to, / On the motion to go into Supply, Mr Speight drew attention to the itemunder the head Permanent Charges— £1435 arrears of pensions. He said he understood this item referred to the Hon. Dr Pollen, whose claim for a pension had been disallowed by the previous Government. He moved that the question of this pension be referred to the public accounts committee for investigation. The Hon. Mr Dick secon led this, saying all authorities were agreed that Dr Pollen was entitled to the pension, and Government desired the fullest investigation. ." ' ' •' ' ■■ ,:. •.•.••■■-.■•. ;;
