At tho Magistrate's Court H. A. Willis, schoolmaster at Hutt, was sentenced to two months' hard hbor for assaulting a resident there.

Matthew Henderson, on charges of larceny as bailie and embezzlement, was again remanded.

A warrant has been' issued ' for the arrest of Jobnson, assistant clerk in the Magistrate's Court at Masterton. The charge js for embezzling £30 of Court money.
