Australians v. English Eleven. Ned Kelly has been committed for trial on Ootober 14.
Advices from Home state that arrange* ments have been made for a match between the Australians and an All-England Eleven. Sydney, Wednesday. A youth named Bald, who offered Sir Henry Farkes, Premier and Colonial Secretary, fifty pounds, as a bribe to secure him an appointment in the civil service, has been brought to trial and discharged on his own recognisances. The Hon. Mr Samuel, PostmasterGeneral, has been appointed AgentGeneral in London. The Hon. Francis Bathurst Sutton has bean appointed Postmaster-General, and Sir George L. Innes appointed Minister of Justice and Public Instruction. .
