This day,
About 150 persons attended a meeting of the unemployed, when two motions were carried, one to petition the Government to itop immigration at once, and
tho other to petition the United Staies Government to aid the working classes hore in going to America ; both, motions were carried unanimously, but the meet ing terminated without any steps being taken to draw up the petition.
Two Chinamen have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in tho Kyeburn murder.
