Driving on the course of the lode continues wit!: at change o? importance to mention either in the quartz or the country. The run of the Comet reef should be reached in about 20 feet further driving, and as the lodes will junction a patch of gold il not improbable. I should say that no gold has yet been seen, but all the indications are exceedingly favourable. The tunnel is in first-class repair, and is one of the finest workings of the kind on the field.
