BLENHEIM.
This day.
About 2.30 yesterday afternoon the body of a man was found floating in front
of Taylor's, in the river. On making the discovery, assistance was procured, and the body, which proved to be that of Thomas O'Sullivan, was drawn to the bank. A medical man was quickly in attendance, and every means were tried to resuscitate the man, but without effect; though the body was quite warm. The unfortunate man has been greatly embarrassed in business affairs lately, and filed his schedule a few weeks ago. This seemed to prey ou his mind, inducing him to intemperate habits. He left his home, which is near to the river, not two hours before his body was discovered, and there being scarcely more than three feet of water at the spot, it is presumed the act was premeditated.
