OUR MINES.
MOANATAIRI.
The weekly report of the manager is at follows: — " Tunnel level. — Nonpareil cross-cut is now six feet into oar own ground. There are stringers of quartz in the face, and a few more feet driving will I think intersect the main slide. Golden Age rise.—The men have been timbering up and there is therefore no change. 80----feet level.—The drive in No. 1 leader west from cross-cut has- now broken through to drive on No. 2 reef, that opening a large block of ground available for stoping. The general stopei are yielding better grade stuff than for some weeks past, and in a few days we shall start opening up these leaders above the 132 feet level. Point Russell section.—The reef in the stopeg is now being broken down, and the part stripped it two feet thick, and looks promising for a good patch of gold. The stuff from here will be crushed next week. Oar general crushing is showing an improvement over the last retarn.—R. Cohbb." •"..
