Another Accident.
The old truism that " Troubles never come singly" was exemplified in our midst to-day by another accident, the victim being a man named Andrew or " Happy " Ciark, employed as a bushman up the Kauaeranga Creek." Clark was engaged in jacking timber when a large log unexpectedly rolled, jaoibing him against another long. The poor fellow was caught across the hips and severely crushed. Some men, who were working in the vicinity, speedily, procured a stretcher, and carried him to the Hospital, where he now lies. The injuries are dangerous, one of the legs being partially paralysed, and the slightest movement causes pain. However, he is dome as well as can be expected, and the doctor does not think unfavourably of the case. Clark, who is a married man, is about 30 years of age.
