The cricket match, Australians v. 18 of Hunslet, near Leeds, was resumed to-day. The Home team went in for their second innings, and were all out for 93 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and lost two wickets for 94 runs. Bannerman, caught, 55 runs. The Australian team won the match by eight wickets. -
Lord Claud Hamilton has defeated Mr Samuel Plimsoll for Liverpool in the elections for a seat in Parliament.
