The following bills were read a first time :— Imprest Supply, Maori Prisoners' Detention, Banks and Bankers, Mercantile Law Chattclj'and Securities, Bills of Exchange Procedure, Arms' Act and Census Act Amendment.
Mr Reynolds gave notice for a return of all who draw pensions' from the New Zealand Government, the amount and for what services they were awarded. Mr Wilson gave notice to ask "what Government intend to do re the J.P. roll, and for a return of all justices who have gone insolvent within the last 10 months."
The Pharmacy Bill was recommitted tp be further amended.
